We are thrilled to have you join us!
Here are a few things to know…
We offer two Sunday morning worship services. The first is at 9am and the second is at 11am. At different times in the year we do a combined service, so be sure to check the calendar for the date you plan to visit.
Where do I go when I get there? Campus Map
There are two entrances to our parking lot from Barr Road marked with blue Welcome flags. If you are handicapped, we have special spaces marked for you from either entrance. Red Visitor Parking flags mark where our guest parking is located just past the fountain from the 2nd entrance. Our First Touch Team will direct you into the parking lot and a joyful team member is usually available to offer a ride to the patio in our golf cart. The First Touch Team is available to greet you and answer any questions or point you in the right direction. Look for smiling faces on the patio wearing “First Touch” lanyards.
What should I wear?
At Calvary Chapel, our heart is for you to come as you are. For some, this means jeans and t-shirts; for others, a suit and a tie. We don’t have a dress code. We’re genuinely interested in you, not your attire.
Can I attend if I’m ________?
Fill in the blank with whatever fear you have about not being accepted: divorced, single parent, broke, recovering addict, gay, transgender, atheist, skeptic, etc. Everyone is welcome at Calvary Chapel. So come as you are, and we’ll see you at the service!
What do I do with my kids?
At Calvary, we believe family matters. So, we place a special emphasis on making sure every member of your family has an amazing experience. We invite you to check in at the covered Welcome Center on the main patio and a First Touch team member will assist you in getting acclimated to our buildings and knowing where to go.
SUNDAY AT 9AM & 11AM
During both services newborns through 5th grade children are invited to “Calvary Town”, where we provide the younger kids with an interactive and dynamic environment where they can have fun, make friends, and learn about Jesus through age-appropriate Bible teaching using the Gospel Project curriculum. Calvary Town is located in the Children’s Ministry Building across from the Sanctuary. A First Touch Team member will be glad to show you the way!
On Sundays, during both services we invite the older youth, 6th grade through high-school to worship with the adults in the Sanctuary.
WEDNESDAY
AT 6PM – During the Summer we have a Family Dinner hour in the Pavilion (located in the rear of the property), where the meal is free for everyone. It is a time of fellowship, getting to know one another better.
AT 7PM – We have a mid-week worship service and Bible teaching through the Old Testament for the adults and the Children’s Ministry teach the younger children through 5th grade where they participate in the Awana’s program September through May and other Summer fun activities, such as Vacation Bible School, during the Summer Months. The youth (aka Movement), 6th grade through high-school, have their own worship service and teaching in the Café building, located behind the Calvary Kids Building across from the Sanctuary.
Note to Parents with Babies & Toddlers:
We are very happy to have you and your family worship with us! At Calvary Chapel we love babies and kids. Our preschool and nursery is staffed with caring adult volunteers. We understand you may be uncomfortable leaving your child, so we have provided a viewing area in the foyer of the preschool building with couches and big screen TV’s where you can watch the service live. We also have a mom’s nursing room in the front of that building.
- If you choose to bring your child to the main sanctuary, please keep in mind that this is an adult Bible study time. If your baby or preschooler gets restless or noisy, we ask that you please bring them to one of the areas mentioned above.
- The service is also being recorded for television so we must keep the area free from distracting noises.
- If your baby or child continues to be noisy or restless one of our ushers will come assist you to the areas provided for your convenience.
