Be still, and know that I am God; Psalm 46:10a
This is a verse that I am sure many of you are familiar with but do you really know what it means personally for you in your life? I believe most of us would say that “be still” means to stop moving, to rest and be quiet. In the context of Psalm 46, “be still” actually means so much more. It means “to be weak, to let yourself sink, to cease striving, letting go of control, to surrender. When we learn to “be still” in this way then it says that we will know and experience in our hearts and in our lives who God is.
You are invited to join us for this year’s Deep South Women’s Gathering, being hosted at Calvary Chapel Lexington, March 10-11, 2023! (Starting this spring, the DSWG will be offered every year, but will be alternating locations between Calvary Chapel Stone Mountain, GA and Calvary Chapel Lexington, SC). We are looking forward to having Sandy MacIntosh, Kathy Adams and Tracy Kirk share with us through their own personal testimonies and through the teaching of Psalm 46 the character of God and how we can learn to be still and personally know and experience God’s Protection, God’s Presence, and God’s Power in our lives as well.
We hope that you will be able to join us this year! We will have plenty of coffee, great food and time for fellowship together! We look forward to seeing you!
In His love and His grace,
