Our Purpose

Our Purpose

  1. To love God and to love people – Matthew 22:37-40
  2. To preach the Word – II Timothy 4:2
  3. To make disciples – Matthew 28:18-20

We believe…

With God Nothing is Impossible – Luke 1:39

We believe that by grace through faith God changes people’s lives.  Our supreme desire is to know Christ and be conformed to His image by the power of the Holy Spirit.  We believe we will grow in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ by abiding in Him through His Word, prayer, fellowship, and by yielding our lives to the Holy Spirit who is at work in and through us as believers.

We believe love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ.  We are committed to show a Christ-like love to all people.  Love should be exhibited in our lives by our words as well as our actions.

Found People Find People – Matthew 4:19

CCL is a church that multiplies small groups throughout our community that will reach the lost, disciple believers and provide ongoing pastoral care.

CCL is a church that is intentional about equipping believers to share their faith in our community, nationally and globally through:

  • local outreach (i.e. Inner city, homeless ministry, nursing homes, etc.)
  • short-term missions trips in the U.S. and overseas
  • disaster relief trips within the U.S.
  • supporting missionaries and overseas projects

Saved People Serve People – Matthew 23:11

CCL is a church that equips all believers to discover their gifts and serve in ministries both inside and outside the church.

CCL is a church that is committed to partner with already existing ministries and also if God raises up leaders to start new ministries to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people.

CCL is a church that participates with other evangelical churches/pastors by praying together, engaging in joint worship services and ministry projects to demonstrate our unity in the body of Christ and make a collective impact on our community.

Prayer Changes Things – James 5:16
